Simply Broiled Salmon

Ingredients

The salmon

  • 12 ounce fillet of Wild Salmon

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • a squish of fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and place a cast iron skillet under it for about ten minutes.
  2. Remove the skillet from the broiler and place the salmon skin side down in the pan, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Return the pan to the broiler and cook the salmon for about six to eight minutes until nearly cooked through.
  4. Remove the pan from the broiler and let the salmon finish cooking in the pan for a couple more minutes.
  5. Top with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and serve.
