Cranberry Relish

Ingredients

The relish

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 each apple, cored and cut into quarters
  • ½ each orange, seeds removed and end trimmed off
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Optional garnish

  • to taste none fresh cranberries and orange zest

Instructions

  1. Chop the cranberries in a food processor until coarsely chopped and transfer to a bowl.
  2. Chop the apple in the food processor until finely chopped and add to the bowl with the cranberries.
  3. Chop the orange in the food processor until finely chopped and add to the bowl with the cranberries and apple.
  4. Add sugar to the bowl and stir to combine.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour or up to 3 days before serving.
  6. Serve, garnished with cranberries and orange zest if desired.
