Coconut Pecan Cabin Granola

The binding mixture

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, almonds, pecans, flour, cinnamon, salt, and sugar if using.
- 3. Whisk together the oil and honey, then pour over the oat mixture and stir until moistened.
- 4. Spread the mixture in a thick layer on a large jelly roll pan.
- 5. Bake for 20 minutes, stir, then bake for another 10 minutes, stir again, and add the coconut flakes on top.
- 6. Bake for a final 5 minutes until the coconut is browned, then let it cool on the pan without stirring.
