Instructions
- Debone the chicken thighs.
- Mix the soy sauce, five-spice powder, rice wine, sesame oil, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Coat the chicken with the sauce mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over low to medium heat and sauté garlic until light brown.
- Add the chicken and sauce to the skillet and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until fully cooked and sauce is reduced.
- Remove chicken from skillet, garnish with sesame seeds and scallions, and serve with steamed rice.
