Instructions

- Gradually whisk in the cornmeal, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Reduce heat and cook until thickened, adding more water if needed.
- Cover and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add butter and adjust consistency with more water if desired.
- Transfer to a wet bowl to form a ball, let set, then serve warm.
