Ham and Cheese Pastries

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Thaw the puff pastry in the fridge and then roll it out slightly larger on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into even squares, choosing the size based on your preference.
- Place a generous amount of cheese and a sprinkle of ham in the center of each square.
- Bring the corners of each square to the center and pinch to seal.
- Whisk the egg with 2 tablespoons of water and brush the mixture over the tops of the pastries.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until they are puffed and golden brown.
