Homemade Ham & Cheese Pockets

deli ham or 2 cups cubed ham
Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let it rest.
- Add olive oil, salt, and flour to the mixture and beat until combined.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is soft and slightly tacky.
- Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheets.
- Punch down the risen dough, divide it into 8 pieces, and flatten each piece.
- Place cheese and ham on one side of each piece, fold over, and seal the edges.
- Brush with egg wash and make slits for air vents.
- Bake until golden brown and cool before serving.
