Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C).
- Leave the skin on the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin matchsticks.
- Place the cut sweet potatoes in a large bowl and drizzle with oil, then sprinkle with seasonings and sugar, and toss to coat.
- Transfer the fries to a baking sheet in a single layer to ensure crispiness.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then flip or stir the fries and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until they are brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and serve as is or with a drizzle of maple syrup or your favorite dip.
