Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and place the baking sheet in the oven.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into even fries, about ¼ inch thick by 3 inches long.
- Toss the fries with cornstarch until evenly coated, then add coconut oil and toss again.
- Mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small dish and add to the fries, tossing until well coated.
- Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven and arrange the fries in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
- If necessary, turn on the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes to crisp them up, watching closely.
- Let the fries rest for 3-5 minutes to crisp up further and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired before serving.
