Ingredients

The salmon

  • 2 lb fresh salmon fillet
  • ½ tsp salt

The marinade

  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ unit lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp sriracha
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the salmon in the center, seasoning with salt.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, ginger, sriracha, garlic, and basil.
  4. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated, and wrap it tightly in the foil.
  5. Bake the salmon for 15 to 20 minutes, then open the foil and broil for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately.
