Ginger Garlic Grilled Salmon

The marinade

Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a small container and mix well.
- Place salmon skin side down in a baking dish and pour marinade over it, avoiding ginger and garlic under the fillets.
- Refrigerate uncovered for about an hour or covered for up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the oven to broil and place a rack in the top position.
- Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over high heat without adding fat.
- Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin side down in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Spoon some marinade over each fillet and place the pan under the broiler for 5 to 7 minutes until golden.
- Remove from the oven, add more marinade over the fillets, garnish with cilantro, and serve immediately.
