Baked Ginger Salmon

Ingredients

The glaze

  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp toasted sesame oil

The salmon

  • 1 lb. fresh salmon

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
  2. 2. Grate the fresh ginger.
  3. 3. Combine the ginger, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. 4. Cut the salmon into four equal portions.
  5. 5. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil, skin side down.
  6. 6. Spread the ginger glaze over each piece of salmon.
  7. 7. Bake the salmon for about 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145ºF.
  8. 8. Serve immediately.
