Garlic Herb Grilled Salmon

The salmon

salmon, top loin, loin or second cut

The marinade

tablespoons
olive oil

cloves
garlic, minced

teaspoon
Italian basil, chopped

tablespoon
Italian parsley, chopped

tablespoon
lemon juice

teaspoon
salt

ground black pepper
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl and stir well.
- Marinate the salmon for 20 minutes.
- Heat a gas grill to medium heat (350°F).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin side down on the grill at a 45-degree angle.
- Grill for 4 minutes without interruption.
- Flip the salmon and grill for another 4 minutes without interruption.
- Baste with the remaining marinade while grilling.
- Check for doneness; if not fully cooked but charred, move to indirect heat and cover for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
