Ingredients

  • cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp carob flour/powder
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • to taste none shaved chocolate for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a large bowl, starting with 1¼ cup of almond milk.
  2. Ensure there are no clumps, then place the mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours or overnight until thick.
  3. Stir well and add more almond milk if desired for the preferred thickness.
  4. Serve chilled or heat in the microwave and enjoy warm, optionally adding coconut cream or a mashed banana.
