Instructions
- Whisk together flour, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and sugar in a bowl.
- Sprinkle and press the mixture over both sides of the chicken.
- Melt 1 Tbsp of butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on the bottom, about 5 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook until done, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F, about 5 minutes more.
- Near the end of cooking, melt the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter with the chicken.
- Remove from heat and add lemon juice and zest to the skillet, coating the chicken in the mixture.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
