Instructions
- Fillet the chicken breasts into thinner pieces.
- Mix the flour and lemon pepper seasoning, then coat the chicken pieces with the mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken and keep it warm.
- Add butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté for about one minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and whisk to dissolve browned bits from the skillet, then add lemon juice and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it to heat through.
- Season with freshly cracked pepper and parsley if desired, then serve.
