Instructions
- 1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and add the butter, shallots, and garlic. Sauté until the shallots are translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- 2. Add the white cooking wine and stir, simmering for 1 minute.
- 3. Whisk in the flour to create a roux, cooking until it turns light brown and smells nutty, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Slowly pour in the chicken bone broth while whisking continuously. Let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
- 5. Add the fresh thyme, sage, salt, and pepper to taste, and serve.
