Instructions
- Butter a 9×13-inch baking pan and set aside.
- Mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter with the milk over medium-low heat until the butter is melted.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the milk-butter mixture and beaten eggs into the center.
- Mix and knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then let it rise in a greased bowl for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over it.
- Fold the dough and cut it into 15 strips, then shape each strip into a roll and place in the pan.
- Let the rolls rise for 1 to 1 ½ hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, brush the rolls with egg wash, and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with flakey sea salt after baking.
