Ingredients

The crust

  • 2 unbaked Flaky Pie Crust

The filling

  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¾ cup add-ins (various)
  • ½ cup shredded or crumbled cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie dough and chill it for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until combined, then refrigerate.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C) and grease two mini muffin pans.
  4. Roll out the pie dough and cut into 2.5-inch rounds, then fit them into the muffin pans.
  5. Pour the egg filling into each crust and top with your chosen add-ins and cheese.
  6. Bake for about 25-28 minutes until the centers are set and the edges are lightly browned.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pans.
