Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold heavy cream

  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks or chips
  • 3 tablespoons additional cream for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Mix the heavy cream and egg in a small bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Incorporate the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles small peas.
  5. Combine the cream and egg mixture with the flour mixture, then add the Oreo chunks and white chocolate.
  6. Knead the dough gently and divide it into two pieces, shaping each into a circle and cutting into wedges.
  7. Place the scones on the baking sheet, brush with additional cream, and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
