Ingredients

Ginger Syrup

  • 1 ½ cups filtered water
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 cup roughly chopped fresh ginger

Latte

  • 1-2 Tbsp ginger syrup
  • 1 ¼ cups unsweetened plain almond milk
  • optional ginger tea
  • optional ginger powder or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ginger syrup by boiling water, sugar, and ginger, then simmering for 45 minutes.
  2. Strain the syrup into a storage container.
  3. Heat the almond milk and add 1-2 tablespoons of ginger syrup, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  4. Optionally steep ginger tea in the almond milk before adding syrup for extra flavor.
  5. Serve topped with ginger powder, cinnamon, or other spices.
