Instructions
- Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Mix the garlic butter ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet until smoking and add the oil.
- Sear one side of the steak for 2 minutes, then sear the fatty edge.
- Flip the steak and sear the other side for another 2 minutes.
- Transfer the steak to a plate and top with garlic butter before serving.
