Instructions
- Place the trivet in the inner pot of the pressure cooker.
- Pour 5 cups of water into the pot.
- Open the can of sweetened condensed milk and divide it equally into jars.
- Put the lids on the jars and close them finger tight.
- Set the jars on the trivet in the pot, ensuring they don't touch each other.
- Close the lid and seal the vent, then set to pressure cook for 35 minutes.
- After cooking, turn off the pot and allow for a full natural release.
- Once cooled, remove the jars and dry them.
- If desired, stir in vanilla after the caramel cools.
