Ingredients

The base

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The mix-ins

  • 2 cups quick oats
  • ½ cup crispy rice cereal
  • ¾ cup chopped pretzels
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, honey, and peanut butter, and heat until bubbling.
  3. Once bubbling, cook for an additional 2 minutes while stirring, then remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in oats, crispy cereal, and pretzels until well coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press evenly.
  6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top and gently press them in.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
