Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.
- Mix the oats, rice cereal, and walnuts in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon, salt, ginger, and nutmeg, then add to the large bowl.
- In another small bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and applesauce, then pour over the dry ingredients and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for about an hour until solid.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking apart.
- Add the dried apples to the granola and store in an airtight container.
