Instructions
- 1. Boil green beans with water and salt in a large skillet until bright green and tender-crisp.
- 2. Transfer beans to cold water or ice bath to stop cooking.
- 3. Pour out remaining hot water from the skillet and melt butter over medium-low heat.
- 4. Add almonds and stir until lightly golden.
- 5. Return green beans to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, and sauté until warmed through.
