Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a large saucepan with 2 teaspoons of salt.
- 2. Add green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then drain and rinse with cold water.
- 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 4. Add almonds and stir to coat with oil, then add shallot, garlic, pepper, and ½ teaspoon salt, cooking until softened.
- 5. Add the green beans to the skillet and toss with the almond mixture, cooking for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- 6. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with lemon zest, and serve with lemon wedges.
