Ingredients

The toffee

  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cup allulose or brown sugar

The toppings

  • 1 cup keto chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup raw almonds, chopped finely

Instructions

  1. Line a small loaf pan with parchment paper and spread the chopped almonds in it.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the butter and sweetener over medium heat until melted and dissolved.
  3. Once the mixture bubbles, use a candy thermometer and stir until it reaches 300°F.
  4. Remove from heat and pour the toffee mixture into the lined pan, letting it sit.
  5. After a few minutes, top with chocolate chips and cover with foil for 5 minutes.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee and refrigerate until firm.
  7. Once firm, break the toffee into pieces.
