Instructions
- Cook ⅓ cup of flour and 1 cup of water in a saucepan until a thick paste forms.
- Add the cream and honey to the paste, whisking until dissolved.
- Transfer the mixture to a stand mixer and add the milk powder, yeast, salt, eggs, and flour.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then incorporate the butter gradually.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into 6 pieces, then each piece into 3 smaller pieces.
- Place the smaller pieces in a greased muffin pan and let rise again until doubled.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and brush the top with egg wash.
- Bake until golden brown, about 25 to 35 minutes, then cool slightly before serving.
