Instructions
- Combine bread flour, sugar, yeast, salt, milk, and heavy whipping cream in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Knead the dough with a stand mixer on medium-high speed for 5 minutes, then add softened butter and knead for another 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm area for 45 minutes until doubled in size.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface, press to release air, divide into 16 portions, and shape into balls.
- Place the dough balls in a 9-inch square baking pan, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes until puffy.
- Prepare the sugar and milk powder mixture and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 310°F (155°C), sprinkle the dough with the mixture, and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust the buns with additional sugar and milk powder mixture before serving.
