Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Combine oats, almond milk, water, and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook until thickened, about 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, and cardamom if using.
- Taste and adjust sweetener as desired, then serve with toppings.
