Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 1 sleeve Saltine crackers

The toppings

  • ¾ cup peanut butter
  • 1½–2 cups chocolate chips
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Cover a 9×13 baking dish with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Arrange the saltines in a single layer in the pan and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  4. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and let boil for three minutes.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the crackers and bake for 5 minutes.
  6. Drop the peanut butter onto the hot mixture and bake for another minute to melt.
  7. Spread the melted peanut butter evenly over the toffee.
  8. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake for another minute to melt.
  9. Spread the melted chocolate evenly and top with sprinkles.
  10. Freeze or chill for 1 hour or until set, then break into pieces for serving.
