Classic Chocolate Toffee

premium milk chocolate or dark chocolate

Instructions
- Grease a 9×9-inch pan and sprinkle 1/3 cup of the ground pecans in it.
- In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, water, and vanilla, and cook over medium heat until it reaches 285ºF – 290ºF.
- Pour the cooked mixture over the nuts in the pan.
- Let it sit for 2 minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let it sit for another 2 minutes before spreading the chocolate evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining ground pecans on top and add a pinch of sea salt if desired.
- Chill the pan in the fridge for at least 2 hours before breaking the toffee into pieces.
