Easy Saltine Toffee

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a half-sheet pan with cooking spray or line it with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
- Arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared pan.
- In a saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar, bringing it to a boil over medium heat without stirring for 3 minutes.
- Pour the boiling mixture evenly over the crackers and bake for 5 minutes.
- Melt the peanut butter in the microwave, then pour it over the warm toffee and smooth it out.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and return the pan to the oven for 1 minute to help the chocolate melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate into an even layer and top with M&Ms.
- Refrigerate the toffee for 2 hours until set, then break into pieces.
