Instructions
- Cut the cabbage into 2" - 3" pieces, slice the onion into ½" wide slices, and cut the carrots into ¼" rounds.
- Add the butter and water or broth to the Instant Pot.
- Add the cabbage, onion, and carrots to the pot.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the vegetables and stir to mix.
- Place the lid on the pot and set the steam release knob to the Sealing position.
- Press the Pressure Cook/Manual button and select 3 minutes on high pressure.
- Once the cook time is finished, perform a Quick Release by turning the steam release knob to the Venting position.
- When the pressure is released and the pin drops, open the lid and stir the cabbage.
- Serve hot with additional black pepper if desired.
