Instructions
- Cook the Lo Mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir fry sliced onion, julienned carrot, and bell pepper for 2 to 3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add sliced mushrooms, shredded cabbage, and bean sprouts, and stir fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), hoisin sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and pour the sauce mixture into the cleared space, letting it heat until it starts to bubble.
- Add the cooked Lo Mein noodles to the wok and toss everything together to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Stir-fry for another 1 to 2 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
