Fried Ravioli

Ingredients

The ravioli

  • 20 ounces refrigerated cheese ravioli

The coating

  • 2 large eggs
  • cup milk
  • 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • as needed none oil for frying

For serving

  • as needed none marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the eggs and milk together in a small bowl.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate or in a shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then roll into the breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange the breaded ravioli in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  6. Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees F.
  7. Fry 6-8 ravioli in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  8. Repeat frying with the remaining ravioli.
  9. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, and serve with marinara sauce.
