Instructions
- Let the salmon sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Lightly coat the foil with baking spray and place the salmon on top, seasoning with kosher salt.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine hot sauce, butter, honey, garlic powder, and cayenne; microwave until melted and stir to combine.
- Brush about two-thirds of the sauce over the salmon and wrap the foil around it to create a packet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until almost cooked through.
- Uncover the salmon, brush with remaining sauce, and broil for 3 minutes until golden.
- Remove from oven, check for doneness, and let it rest if necessary.
- Sprinkle with cheese and herbs, then cut into portions and serve.
