Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and prepare a muffin pan.
- Cream together the butter, vegetable oil, and sugars until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour alternately with the milk, starting and ending with flour.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin pan and bake for 15 to 17 minutes.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing melted butter, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and hot water until smooth.
- Dip the tops of the muffins in the glaze, add sprinkles, and let the glaze harden before serving.
