Homemade Spicy Nuts

Ingredients

The nuts

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup hazelnuts

The seasoning

  • teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

The oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine all the nuts.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together all the seasoning ingredients.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the nuts and toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the nuts and toss again to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the nuts in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan.
  7. Roast in the oven for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
