Ingredients

The nuts

  • 1 cup raw almonds

Optional seasoning

  • a pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
  2. Place almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Remove from the oven and let the almonds cool completely.
  4. Place the cooled almonds in a high-speed blender or food processor and pulse until crumbly.
  5. Add salt if desired and continue pulsing until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  6. Transfer the almond butter into a jar or container.
