Toasted S'more Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt in a large bowl.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth, then add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough into balls and place them on the baking sheets.
- Bake the cookies for 12 minutes, then remove from the oven and add the toppings.
- Return the cookies to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until the toppings are toasted.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
