Ingredients

  • 4 cups cereal
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (for melting chocolate)

Instructions

  1. 1. Pour cereal into a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine peanut butter, honey, coconut oil, and salt. Heat over medium until warmed through, about two minutes.
  3. 3. Turn off the heat and add vanilla.
  4. 4. Pour the mixture over the cereal and mix until well coated.
  5. 5. Press the mixture into an 8x8 pan very tightly, using wet hands to compact it.
  6. 6. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top and place in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  7. 7. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before cutting into bars.
  8. 8. Store in the freezer.
