For preparation
Instructions
- Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper and coat it with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, rice cereal, and wheat germ.
- In a pot over medium heat, combine the corn syrup, peanut butter, and brown sugar, cooking until the peanut butter melts.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture into the oat mixture and stir until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan and gently press the chocolate chips into the top.
- Chill for 60 minutes until firm, then cut into 12 pieces and serve.
