Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Process the flour mixture with cold butter in a food processor until crumbly.
  3. Add maple syrup and cold water, processing until the dough forms a ball, adding more water if necessary.
  4. Divide the dough into two balls, flatten into discs, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Place the crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it into the dish and trimming excess crust.
  7. Bake according to the recipe you are using.
