Pie Crust

Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, and salt, then place in the freezer.
- Chill a large bowl in the fridge.
- Dice the butter and shortening, then chill again.
- Combine the chilled flour mixture with butter and shortening, cutting until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- If too soft, chill again, then slowly add ice water until the dough comes together.
- Knead the dough lightly and divide into two discs, wrap, and chill for at least an hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a 12-13 inch round.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a pie pan and fit it into the shape of the pan.
- Trim excess dough and decorate the edges as desired, then chill for at least 45 minutes before baking.
