Easy Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 2⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • 20 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • 6 tablespoons ice water
  • 1 teaspoon cold apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine 1⅔ cups of flour and salt in a food processor and pulse to mix.
  2. Add butter pats and pulse until well combined and clumps form.
  3. Add the remaining flour and pulse briefly until the dough is crumbly.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add ice water and vinegar, and mix until a ball forms.
  5. Divide the dough in half, shape into disks, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 2 hours.
  6. Roll out one disk on a floured surface to about ⅛-inch thick.
  7. Transfer the rolled dough to a pie plate and trim the edges.
  8. Repeat with the second disk for a top crust or use as needed.
