The base

  • 1 French demi-baguette halved lengthwise

The toppings

  • ¼ cup pesto
  • ½ cup mozzarella or Italian-blend cheese, shredded
  • cup oven-roasted cherry tomatoes or oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the halved bread on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of pesto on each half of the bread.
  4. Top each half with ¼ cup of cheese and the tomatoes.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
