Ingredients

The bread

  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread

The toppings

  • ½ cup pesto
  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Place the bread on a large baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Spread each half with pesto.
  4. Top evenly with mozzarella slices and shredded Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  6. Cut bread into slices and serve warm.
