Dairy Free Crockpot Hot Chocolate

Instructions
- Soak the cashews overnight, then drain and rinse them.
- Blend the soaked cashews with 4 cups of fresh water until completely smooth to make cashew milk.
- Add the cashew milk and the remaining ingredients to a slow cooker and whisk to combine.
- Cook on high for about 1.5 hours until heated through.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as desired.
- Optionally blend with an immersion blender before serving.
- Serve topped with dairy free whipped cream or marshmallows.
